Hi! My name is Jason Benn. I like to build big harmonious systems out of code (and friends).
Some of the things I’m proud of building:
- I was the sole founding MLE at Sourceress, which peaked at $2M ARR. I built the model training and deployment pipeline and overhauled the data labeling infrastructure.
- I built a distributed A/V system at Minerva, which was basically Zoom with pedagogical features back in 2015, and which had to be tolerant of dozens of network partitions per day.
